A Quick-Change adapter is available for small diameter flap wheels, and an Adapter Kit is available with a 1/4" steel shank to permit use of some coated abrasive flap wheels on 1/4" electric drills.

Portable Tool Adapter Kit For Large Diameter Flap Wheels

  • To permit use of coated abrasive flap wheels on 1/4" electric drills and other adjustable-chuck power tools, a special adapter kit is available with a 1/4" steel shank.
  • The kit will accommodate flap wheels 3-1/2" through 6" in diameter with face widths up to and including 1-1/2", with 5/8" center hole only (may be used on wheels with
    1" center holes reduced to 5/8" with reducing bushings).
